If you think any of this gibberish looks interesting, you should poke around and subscribe to my RSS feed to keep up with new content.
This list comes up often enough in my head that I figure I should go ahead and put it down. Maybe someday I’ll add it to the sidebar with my other lists.
The list of games I have beaten. (Or arguably “completed”).
Despite the fact that I’ve played gazillions of games, especially on the PC, there’s a relatively small number of games I’ve ever actually played all the way through (without just /nocliping to the end). I think the number is somewhere under 5%, and to me it means that there was something so phenominal about the game that it captured me all the way through.
So here’s that list, in no particular order:
- TIE Fighter
- Half-Life (one, two, espisode one)
- Diablo II (but not the first one)
- Final Fantasy VII
- Deus Ex
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
- Donkey Kong Country
- World of Warcraft (hit 60 before the expansion)
- Counter-Strike (OK I know you can’t *beat* this, but I still play it, so I think that counts)
- God of War II
That’s it. Short list, huh?

Holy crap! I’ve beaten/completed wayyyy more games than you. Who would’ve seen that coming?

Isn’t it nuts? I think I suffer from massive massive game-beating-phobia-ADD

Whoa… I think I’VE played more games all the way through than you have, which is crazy, because I really don’t play games that often. Though, I say “played […] all the way through” instead of “beaten” because it doesn’t really count if you cheat, and I am way bad at videogames.
