What’s on my “games to play” list

If you think any of this gibberish looks interesting, you should poke around and subscribe to my RSS feed to keep up with new content.

At any given time I have a good three or four games on “the list” - you know, that list of games that you’ve thrown down the $$ for and haven’t really even taken the shrink wrap off of? It’s one of the things that’s stopping me from picking up Hellgate: London, despite the decidedly mediocre reviews its getting.

At the moment, here’s what I’ve got in the queue, that I hope someday to play. The problem is that’s when I have 15 free minutes, it’s so much easier to just play Counter-Strike.

  • Guitar Hero III - Technically, I beat it already. But that’s no excuse for the extremely embarrassingly low number of hours I have put into this game so far.
  • BioShock - Yes, yes, I know when it came out. The problem is that the damn mouse control scheme feels like molasses with a quicksand problem. I may never play it again, actually, just because of their unbelievable control scheme incompetence.
  • Half Life 2: Episode 2 - “What???” you rightfully exclaim, “how the hell have you not finished this?” Tell you the truth, I don’t know. I should stop blogging and go play.
  • Eve Online - I’m ashamed to say it’s been days since I’ve logged in. My buddy put together a corp for us, HQ’d in the same system I’m at, and I’m too lazy to hop over one planet and sign up.

I’m also sorely tempted by the Sam & Max deal on Steam right now. Gah!
