Jason Preston is the Vice President of Strategy and Product Development for the Parnassus Group, a Redmond-based company that produces conferences and parties around emerging technologies, and provides social media intelligence to clients and partners seeking to effectively participate in online communities.

Jason has worked with clients on shaping blogger engagement strategies, creating blogs, and understanding the business value of social media tools like Twitter and Facebook. He has spoken at numerous local and national conferences including the Web Community Forum, The Tweet House, and Ignite Seattle. He has written about social media and emerging technologies in Crosscut and Seattle Business Magazine.

A lifelong gamer, Jason is the President and co-founder of L33tsauce.com, a videogame site that provides easy-to-use tools for gamers to publish their knowledge in online pages called Dojos. Gamers earn 50% of the ad revenue generated from their Dojos.

He graduated from Occidental College in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and World Affairs, which is a fancy way of saying “Economics, Business, Politics, and Philosophy.”
